Heritage League of the 2nd Air Division
93rd Bombardment Group Association
467th Bombardment Group Association
Annual Joint Reunion/Convention
Colorado Springs, CO October 17 – 21, 2024 (with optional add-on October 21 & 22)
This year the Heritage League has partnered with the 93rd Bomb Group Association and the 467th Bomb Group Association for our annual Convention. All three organizations share the same interest and enthusiasm in preserving the legacy and memory of the people who took part in the bombing campaigns in Africa and Europe during WWII. We are looking forward to making new friends and sharing time together.
Our theme this year is “The Wild Blue Yonder” in recognition of the establishment of the United States Air Force Academy in 1954—70 years ago. We will develop the theme through presentations and speakers to explore the academy’s importance to today’s Air Force. Veterans of the 8th Air Force were advocates for the establishment of a school dedicated to the study of war in the air.
Registration for the convention/reunion is $410. This covers four dinners, two lunches, meeting room rental, transportation, entrance fees, Color Guard meals, memorial wreaths and other incidental expenses.
Our optional add-on tour explores all that Colorado Springs has to offer. It includes the Pikes Peak Cog Railway, Seven Falls, the Royal Gorge Suspension Bridge and Route Railroad. We end at the Cave of the Winds.
If you know anyone who might be interested in attending our reunion/convention please feel free to pass on an invitation to attend. All are welcome.
Important dates:
September 23: Deadline for hotel reservations. After that date, the hotel will release any remaining rooms. See Hotel Reservations.
September 25: Registration forms and payment due. See Reunion Registration and Payment.

Reunion registration refund policy
Last minute cancellations can cause significant loss to the groups. This loss occurs because we must guarantee your attendance to the hotel relative to all meals and other related costs. When you don't show, we still are charged for meals and other expenses.
The committee recognizes that there will always be unforeseen events beyond your control, and we truly regret your personal inconvenience. However, the committee has decided that we must stay with our policy of "pay as you go" for reunion costs.
We reviewed the choices: we could either add an extra amount to everyone's fees to cover last minute cancellations, or we could set a deadline date for cancellations after which the fees paid cannot be refunded.
No refund will be made after October 5th.
